What Trump doesn't realise is that when Putin's lapdogs in the Duma applauded his election it was the same sort of applause I'd imagine afforded Jeremy Corbyn by certain Tories after they's attempted to aid his election as Labour Leader

I go with bookbinder. It would be nice for Russia to feel less threatened by the West (yet aware in the background of the overall strength if Russia overstepped the line)and therefore more able to cooperate in several fields, but the long spoon applies.
