u can give your baby baby rice twice a day it was all my son would eat for a while!! i would suggest buying more of the boxed powdered food especially the ones that are made with baby milk and not water. it's all the same sort of consistency as the rice but u will be introducing more flavours then after that try jarred food or your home made recipes. good luck xXx

same as above my littlun wasnt satisfied with just milk so i supplemented it with rice and she was sated for a while but then i kept trying different flavored stuff she progressed quite naturally dont worry about it too much and just try to go with the swing of things. good luck xxx

I breastfed my children solely till they hit 6 months and then you have to introduce foods pretty quickly. I started with a spoonful of baby rice twice a day but in that week pureed carrots, pears, parsnips, and any other fruit or veg that could be cooked and blended till smooth. You will be surprised how quickly they take to new foods.

Obviously if your baby is younger you can leave longer periods between introducing new stuff. Your health visitor should be able to give you a brilliant leaflet which guides you as to what foods you should introduce and when.

my girl was a very hungry baby, milk never filled her up i tried the rice but she didnt like it so i gave her a few spoonfulls of rusk in the morning, and at tea the packet dinners where you just add water from boots she was fine you do what ever you think best
