* btw our decison was NOT based on that doctors flawed report (which i have never even read), but based on our family experience of post immunisation fits, allergies and immunity issues!

tweeny, you must of course do what you think is best. However, if you find you can't get them, please consider having the MMR. You could ring the local private hospital and ask
|

You may have some difficulty as there are no single vaccines for measles, mumps and rubella licensed for use in the UK.
There is no country in the world that recommends immunisation against measles, mumps and rubella in three single vaccines instead of MMR Scroll down to "Why not use single vaccines.." http:// |

Right well his seems to have been a hot topic and in all honesty whatever has or
hasn't been proven I'm going the seperate route regardless, call me crazy but I'm doing it for my own peace of mind that I've done everthing I can. Thank you all. Have a good week. |

Hi tweenyb, all of mine have had the combined jab with no side effects, but each to his own. As long as your child(ren) have the immunisations in some form, that's the important thing. Hope you find someone in your area who can help you.

That there is a link between the MMR vaccine and Autism has become, unfortunately. and article of faith for some people.
Despite all the studies which show there is no causal link, despite the revelations that Wakefields original study was full of flaws and purpose designed to support a class action against vaccine manufacturers, one thing that has always been problematic is that it is rarely possible to reason people from a position of faith. Belief in the absence of evidence, in this case done with the best motivations and a sense of guilt. http:// |
