Telegraph on Saturday, MOS both for crosswords, puzzles etc, and Private Eye to find things out years before anyone who doesn't get it!

You can often find them abandoned on trains or in bus-station waiting-rooms.
They print what sells most copies.
I love the gutter press, all the gossip and silly stories.
I buy the Guardian and the Observer. (For the crossword and the review sections.)
I only buy the Western Daily Press and usually don't read it, I turn straight to the crossword page. The rest are just full of garbage IMO! If I were to buy another it would probably be the Sport, at least it doesn't pretend to be something it isn't!

What am I saying, I wouldn't buy the either!
There are only 2 things you can believe in what you read in the papers - the price and the date.
that either
Our local once got the date wrong!!

I hope you didn't pay the full price for it!
I read the Perthshire Advertiser and (don't think too badly of me) I get the Daily Mail/Sunday Mail each day.

I don't read much of the 'news' in the papers - I would either end up irate or confused. But brilliant supplements, puzzles and cartoons. They also give Mail Reward points and that saves begging for one on here.
not all the press are bad or inaccurate!
I pick up the evening standard at night for the man hostage. Otherwise I just look online or watch or listen to the news. Don't see the point to buying a newspaper anymore.
Guardian / Private Eye on a regular basis and an occasional FT on a Saturday to see what the capitalists are up to ...

oh - and a copy of the 'i' for 20p is a bargain for the puzzles and a quick news digest
MR S is a newspaper junkie .He must keep the press going :)
I just cut all the crosswords out .I never wade through them .He only buys the broadsheets though.
I do buy the local rag but mainly to see who has been hatched ,matched and dispatched .The i Paper is quite good read though for 20p.

The Independent i at 20p per day and 30p on Saturday is all that is necessary and as far from gutter press as we need. We also save by pooling our delivery with a neighbour and save half the cost.
the cartoons in "Eye" are worth the money zebo and the Telegraph Xword is good so we get it on internet.
only ever buy papers for the crossy and the mail for femail and tv mag. OH reads the Irish Independant.(Crosswords not bad inthat either)
