Mothers day

Today we had Mothersday here in South Africa and all mothers was treated with breakfast in bed and enjoyed a relaxing day while the Dad's and kids did all the cooking!!!

We had ours back in March. I would like to think that "all mothers" were treated to anything, but bet you were just one of the lucky ones.

Ours is on Mothering Sunday, when traditionally there was a church service and it was part of the church calendar (may stll be; I'm not a churchgoer), so motherhood itself was celebrated. And we try to make our mums feel extra special. Not sure about cooking breakfast though. It might end up causing work for her !
