I'm too polite to those people, had a guy ring the other day trying to persuade me (not that he got that far) to switch to British Gas - I pointed out that, if they checked their records, I'm already with British Gas!?!? Muppets!

Anyone started getting robotic calls from their Bank with an important announcement for 'your name' but you have to give your DOB before they will continue?
Hard to believe but this is genuine -numpties expecting us to play ball with this latest ploy...

benny -think it should shift soon although we're in for winds of almost 90mph tonight-batten down the hatches !!

daffy -they really have had it bad and mustn't forget Australia as well in all seriousness.My thread was tonque in cheek obviously but those poor people have been left with nothing but the clothes on their back.Whats happening with this mad climate ....

O then Milly that would explain it.as we hadnt received our CC statement before we went to Spain before Xmas and I paid online at an Internet cafe and ive had no end of problems from the Bank due to overlapping dates.What a daft system..
