Whjat is the least deposit I have to put down to buy a house these days - say £100,000?

there are some companies offering 95 or even 100% ltv mortgages again i think and also some builders are offering "deposit paid" or other offers on new builds.

Thanks for quick answers - just enquiring for my son.
perhaps he needs to talk to a mortgage adviser, there are some independant ones attached to most etstae agencies, to get an idea of what he may be able to borrow first
To get the best available interest rate he will need to have a minimum deposit of 25% of the purchase price.
The Natwest 100% mortgage is only for their existing mortgage customers... all the best deals need about 20% deposit.
