Just snapped my debit card and ordered a new one, will I get a new 16 digit number? or can I still use the old ones details to buy stuff online?

Have you had to cancel that card before ordering the new one and is the snapped one still in date?
I think the number might stay the same off the top of my head but that three digit security number on the back won't so the answer is no my love... Plus last year, when my old debit card ran out, HSBC sent me a visa debit card so all my details changed.
You will get a new code on the front and back.
The old card should still be usavle until the new card is activated though, we get customers in who still have the new sticker on their card and it won;t work cos they have not activated it, if you cancelled the old one too early then you can't continue using it, but if they are just swapping it because it is damaged and they cancelled it when you irdered the new one you are stuck til it arrives
