Can anyone help me find the right savings account? Me and my boyfriend are moving into rented accomodation but while we're there we want to save up a deposit to buy a house. We'd be able to put away around �100 a month, but also want to be able to get to the cash on case of emergencies. what kind of account do people recommend? and where has got the best deals?

I would think a Cash ISA. No tax to pay on the interest.

Yes - cash ISA. You can have one each. But interest rates are very low at present.
