why are they spoiling it? they are adding to it surely or they wouldn't get all the replies they do! There is an option to ignore. The words are still there, so what's the problem, not sure I understand why this winds people up.

Yes Bold and Italic can be ignored and I said yesterday that doesnt bother me. But if they now came on as your user name would you find it funny, I'm sure Gravy or 4GS dont and cant just ignore it when they are being accused of things they havent said. And would you want children using a site with a foul mouthed user like that? Not funny at all

boogie i have a daft sense of humour, after laughing at myself for talking to an onion earlier I think its also verging on a slack sense of humour.

Well boogieboogie, think on this. Someone clones your name effectively, and if action is not taken, eventually you will have to come to terms with some other unknown person being able to post "as you" in a way that is virtually indistinguishable from you. Are you comfortable with that? Add to this of course that it can hardly be said to be a benign activity, impostering.

I am all in favour of online punch-ups, but open and above board.
