dont know if this is the right place but here goes. we have a simpsons script, personalised by the actors that do the voices, it has autographs on it and a drawing by matt groening. would it be worthwhile to insure this. if this was destroyed we couldnt buy another one. would it be worth money and if so do i insure or sell? if so where. also. i have found 2 robertsons (the ones with the golliwog) egg cups, will these be worth anything and where would i find out? thanks.
How old are your eggcups? There are lots of modern replicas out there. Who made them?
The Simpsons' Script will certainly be worth money - contact your nearest auction house who may be able to help you with contacts and valuations if you tell them you want to sell.
the egg cups i think were collect with the golly tokens that was on the jars so approx 20 years old. they are printed on the bottom with the robertsons logo. so are originals. we only have 2 though. i daresay a lot of these are out there as they were popular. will check the auction houses regarding the script.
most household insurance only asks you to name and pay extra cover for items worth over 1000.
the script is unlikely to go for anything like that, so I wouldn't worry.
I'd play safe and take a few pics - always worth doing incase you need to prove you had the items for an insurance claim.
