Interest Rates

Can anyone tell me the formula to calculate interest rates . For example
Amount borrowed = £500,
Repayable in ( N) equal monthy installements.
Total Amount to be paid incl Capital and Interest £800.00

It must be simple but the way to do it just escapes me

Do you want a formula or a calculation tool. Here is a site which allows you to calculate repayments.
I just did a google search on 'calculate mortgage payments' and found lots of entries.

Happy to help but I really think many of the posters on AB are lazy and could find the answer in 2 minutes with an internet search
