wrong tax

last year our accountant got us a tax rebate in Feb. In Oct she rang us to say she had made a mistake and we had to pay the tax man back. Wasn't this her fault-should she reduce our fees?

No I dont think you can blame her unless she has made you pay too much tax. From what you are saying it means you are repaying a tax refund you should not have got.

It is a common mistake however it does seem unfair I agree. if you lile your accounant you should forgive them, if not, change accountants. Good luck.
Have you asked her if she'll do that for you?
