if you have a chip and pin card do you still have to sign the back of the card

you do with a Lloyds TSB one ... I assume they're all the same.

It can still be 'swiped' like a normal (non chip & pin) card, so you'd stilll need a signature check.
Yes - some shops are not set up for chip and pin so you sometimes have to sign.
