We will be opening new ISA accounts tomorrow and in the list of fees is £8 for 'telegraphic transfer'.  I don't know what this is - we will be transferring our existing ISA in to it later in the year and will possibly be transferring this new ISA next April.

Will this telegraphic transfer fee affect us?

I'm not sure you'd need  a telegraphic transfer- you just need a normal bank transfer

I'm assuming you're in UK and it's not an overseas transaction - an overseas one would use a TT

Like a wire?  Doesn't apply to us, thanks both

There are no fees involved in transferring a cash ISA.

Question Author

Thanks again.  That's why I was surprised to see this in the list of fees (it's the only fee)
