The Trump Administration's Solution To Climate Change: Ban The Term
There was a discussion on AB a few days ago, when I suggested that Trump was a Climate Change denier, and a few people thought he wasn't ( despite all the evidence that he was ! )
Now the Dept of Ag. in the States is being told to pretend it isn't happening.
But it goes further....many Depts, all over America are now forbidden from talking about CC.
Anybody here still think that Trump believes in CC ?

when I say - true - I may not mean ( but then I may ) that climate change exists and or is a problem - but that only it is true it has been banned - or er alleved to have been banned

The problem is that the cause of climate change is open to debate.
What Mr Trump does not like are agreements that will put the USA in a poor position commercially (and will affect American jobs) with the rest of the world hence pulling out of Kyoto.
But you know this because you have been told it many times.

America could lead the world in changing the planets bad habits, but instead, he prefers to continue to preach to the already converted, ie the Oil Barons, Big Business, and coal miners.
He reminds me of a cartoon I saw, a long time ago.
It shows a American man, with a cigar about a foot long, driving an enormous 1950's Cadillac Convertible, through a Texas oil field, studded with derricks, and he is saying
" I'm rich....I can afford to waste the earths precious resources ! "
