'morning all, a pleasant start to the day here, it's a bit overcast but it's dry and not a bad temp. Just got back with the hound, was a nice walk.

Gmorning all. Am suffering from posh nosh too WBM. Lazy chefs serving unpeeled halved garlic grilled with guinea fowl. I stink of garlic.....yuk!

My dad can sniff out garlic from everything. If you don't like it you just don't like it.
I remember a post office clerk saying to me "you've been eating garlic" and there was a glass pane between us. That was 20+ years ago. I still remember the shame.

Jo....I stopped eating garlic years ago, when one of my customers asked me what else, other than garlic, had I been eating !

First of all, I stopped eating it on Sundays through to Fridays, leaving me Saturday night to indulge. But I soon realised that the smell stayed with your days. Its not just the breath or course....it comes out in you sweat and through your pores.

I don't miss at all now. When I was in Sorrento in 2010, I had to send back a breakfast, as the eggs and bacon had been fried in the same pan as other garlic-infested stuff. The chef wasn't best pleased, but for the rest of my week, the breakfasts were OK !
