Well Mandy has never liked democracy, those damned people thinking they know what they are doing.

Usual arrogant Islington lot again. Do they really want civil war?

Speaks volumes for their contempt of the electorate.
I wasn't sure which one you are on about ymf, there are so many on here today!
Considering the political history of the main protagonists, I am amazed anyone is giving these people a moment's attention.

Milliband and Clegg have hardly covered themselves with political glory, Lord Mandleson is an unelected backroom schemer, and June Sarpong presents television to teenagers.

Why would anyone care what any of them think about anything?
I'm pretty sure that Theresa May will give them short shrift.
I hope so.
By "Sour Grapes Brigade" do you mean the evil ones, or the people who keep calling them the "Sour grapes Brigade" :-)

Let's nuke Islington, I say :-) Or at the very least pelt them with stale half-knitted yoghurt ...
dannyk13 - //I'm pretty sure that Theresa May will give them short shrift. //

I hope Mrs May ignores them completely.

Any attention paid to them would hint at a sense of legitimacy which they plainly do not deserve in the slightest.
Mrs Death Mask is in her "I'm Nigel in a skirt" phase (She'll get over it) so she is unlikely to sip from the foul vineyards of Chateau Mandelson for now ...
the anti British know best YMB! The public are too stupid to make these decisions. The enlightened ones must save us from ourselves! Order another container ship load! Can there be any more sour grapes left! Surely the crop needs to recover for next March for a start!
There was a question earlier about learning a foreign language to accommodate migrants.
It strikes me that the opposing posts in some of these threads may as well be in two different languages (!)
Quale questione ha lei in mente?

Didn't know that you were a migrant icheria
Sorry icheria, just realised why you posted the link,Mea culpa.
You live in a Country with a House of Lords and talk of Democracy ?
You live in a country which merely allows you to vote for an elite to push you around for five years and talk of Democracy ? Well at least we got a referendum. Now they have the result they should get on with it not listen to those desperate to find a way to stop the stated will of the people.

I do not believe that any intelligent person truly thinks that the calls for debate and approval are genuine, we all know it is an attempt to vote against any exit worth the name, to prevent genuine exit from occurring.

There is a time to lead; and there is a time to debate and agree; and then there is a time to simply get on with it without delaying or sabotage tactics being given any opportunities.

In reality there is no "soft" or "hard" Brexit. There is merely exit in name only but effectively being a voiceless member will all the disadvantages still inflicted, or a genuine exit with a new set of agreements in place to benefit both the UK and their European trading partners without the unnecessary impositions.

(Or if EU countries choose to be awkward and are determined to cut off their nose to spite their face, a genuine exit but with a new set of agreements in place that are of lower benefit than would have been ideal for both the UK and their European trading partners, but with the UK getting compensated by the global agreements they make in addition.)
They are so smug and arrogant, aren't they? I am sure that they think that with a little more browbeating we will tug our forelocks and humbly retire to honest jobs to fund their daydreams. I don't think they envisage that we might, actually might, be driven to massive civil disobedience. Even this grandma would be prepared to march with a pitchfork (or whatever I can find) if the traitors should somehow thwart full and complete Brexit. As an aside - Hammond has to toe the line or go.
