Reconnection With Father

Like always I put topics in here that should be else where.

I'm looking to try and reconnect with my father who made no attempt to keep in contact when I walked out at the age of 12. I'm thinking about writing a letter, I just don't know what to put in it.

Any suggestions?

It's worth mentioning that my brother and I both walked out. He loved him step children more than his own kids. So much so that I hid under a desk while he was shouting at me.

Well you're a grown man so can make your own choices. I just wondered if your mum could help word a letter.

He should have made an effort but I think sometimes it's a matter of out of sight out of mind. Time passes and it gets harder and harder to make contact because of shame.

I haven't got a phone at the moment. I had a works one but the boss needed to give it to someone else because the number was the number that appears on his website. He'll be getting me a new one soon and I'll message you the number x

Owen has my old phone so you can get me on that number in the evening if he's home or I'll message you Ginge's number.

Lol...no, he's at work.

I got a works phone but the number is on the website so my boss gave it to the lad that runs the website and will get me a new one. We just haven't got round to it yet.

I've said to the boss that I want a phone before I go on holiday which is next month. He's on a training course in London at the moment.
