I am sure there are many people in the UK who have experienced the same problem that I have at the moment.

I live in the UK and am an affiliate for several USA on-line companies. Some of these companies pay me my commission with US Cheques and in US Dollars. Some are quite small amounts ($10, $50 and so on).

Can someone please tell me where/how one can cash/deposit these cheques in the UK without attracting huge bank charges.

Many thanks

I don't think you can if you continue to have a US cheque paid into a Sterling bank account.
Are you able to get an alternative form of payment or even a bank account which is in US Dollars?
We paid a couple of low value $ cheques into my husbands Barclays Bank account a couple of years ago without any charges at all.

Do you ever go to the US or are you ever likely to?

Could you open a US bank account and then withdraw money there?

I think ing (or something similar have US branches)

Only a thought.
