Ive always loved my Land Rovers, Ive had a few, I used to trial Land Rovers and Range Rovers but not had either for a few years now and really missed them. Now I have the model that I loved most, a Series 111
She is on the road but still requires some work, well at 33 years old it will be an ongoing project but they are great to work on and a pleasure to own.
It does also have a practical purpose as well, we need a 4X4 in the winter to get up and down the half mile track to the farm in the snow.
Great! Just the job! You and your lovely lady sound so happy, Ratter, it's a pleasure to read your posts about your new life. Love and happiness to you both always. x
pixie373, I would say, still settling in, still so much to do. still trying to get carpets down, still trying to get stables cleared from previous people, we had all the drive up to the farm repaired to make it more drivable by filling all the holes and leveling it a little, then came the torrential rain and washed it all away again! back to square one, trials and tribulations of a Welsh Hill Farm I suppose lol. Still loving every single minute!
The joys of the countryside, ratter - now you know why farm tracks and house drives are always bumpy - I can almost the undercarriage of an Audi out on the drive here. Enjoy the Land Rover - most practical and esp. when the white stuff comes crashing down.
I suppose, as a long term project, there will always be something that needs doing! I'm glad you're enjoying it and hope your wife and mother-in-law equally happy? At the moment, you have your dogs and the pony? Are they all ok?
