One small bearing (less than 1"x1") £19.80 and £15 labour for 2 minutes work. I keep telling myself it is cheaper than a new one

Ah well, at least it's working again mrs o, bloody rip of though isn't it.
that's not bad though -- really. iknow you could buy the bearing for pence but still it is cheaper than a new one

I am still astounded at the cost of the bearing - when he showed it to me I thought it would be a couple of pounds

We had to have a new felt seal for our tumble dryer, we were quoted £9 for the seal and £90 to fit it!!

I fitted it myself in an hour and saved the £90
ok gness, my gob is now closed on that subject !.
My late husband used to call our shed, The Huffy House."
