Please don't!
The interest rate on all these companies is shocking, they really should be shut down as far as im concerned. If there's another way for you to get money on a loan, friends? Relatives? please please please do that instead. |

if you are on benefits the social will lend for certain things!

I have had payday loans before and never had any problems they are very good as far as I am concerned looking for where to go not a sermon!!
so use the companies you used before then!
And excuse us for looking out for you too! Jeeeze! |
Provident is probably the best option,, they usually have offices in most places.

have you tried the DWP for a crisis loan if you are on benefits?
http:// |
ditto! it just leaves you short for the next fortnight, and the downward spiral continues!

>>>not a sermon!!
Then one week you cant pay it back so you incur interest. So you borrow more to pay the first loan, and then you cant pay that back. Next thing you know you are thousands in debt and wonder how you got there. Just talk to the Citizens Advice Bureau and ask them how many people come to them each week after getting in debt with shady loan companies. But if you know best we will shut up. |

I'm just curious. Leaving aside the merits or demerits of payday loans per se, what is the particular objection to wonga or textloan, compared with all the others?

Question Author
I've already borrowed from them
So you already owe money to Wonga and textloan ? These companys check with each other so if you already owe 2 of them no one is going to offer you more.
you are probably in a debt cycle, maybe its time you tried to get yourself on an even keel, payday loans are not the way to do this, you need help rather than money to get you through temporarily to the next hiccup

The potential for a lot of consumers to get in trouble with those payday loans exists because they misuse them and keep renewing, in such way becoming dependent on them. However when payday loans are used only as they are intended, like for monetary emergencies (the car breaks down, the unexpected bills appear, etc) they turn out to become an absolute life saver.

Do not go anywhere near them - I wouldnt touch them with someone else's bargepole! They have been made to look respectable because they advertise on telly, but they are the next best thing to loan sharks in my humble opinion. NO NO NO!!!
