post the forms, get proof of postage, i sent my OH's forms off in april and his rebate came through mid may. you will have been sent a user id card which i guess is the activation code on a thin credit card size blue and white card, another letter contains the code under a lift up tab.it doesn;t change i don't think. nor does your UTR. they suspended the online returns for the first week of the new financial year anyway and so we couldn't get it done immediately so we used the hardcopy they sent by post.

Thanks Dotty,I think the "old fashioned way" is probably best!
They sent me an activation code last year but that expires after 28 days,I managed to do last years form online. Once I've logged on to my account it asks for a new activation code which you have to request, can't find the link to request it though. I'll take your advice and post it... and get some proof of posting. :-) |

Activation code is half the number by post & half by email. Do not paste info, key in passwords & codes

once you have filed online you should not have to use the activation PIN again. Not sure whats happened there if you follow this link it will show you how to apply for a new PIN. https:/
