How easy is it to make a small living from ebay?

( no not selling used knickers LOL)

When i have a clearout i put stuff on ebay and make honestly 100/200quid a go...

Often wondered if i got stuff on cheap from charity shops etc if id make any money to see me by just now from selling on ebay x

It was probably a good idea a few years ago, but I think every man (or woman) and his dog is doing it these days. I can remember reading stories in the papers about someone buying a little ornament at a car boot sale for 20 pence, putting it on eBay and getting something like 17 quid for it. It might still be worthwhile but just remember, tinks, you may have to register yourself as a business seller (as oppose to private) in which case you'd be eligible for taxes... eBay, together with the taxman, are taking all the fun out of selling on there.

Don't forget if you buy to sell, you are trading and need to inform the tax man, even if you lose money.

You'll also be horribly shocked at what charity shops sell their stuff for now too.

tinks, have you considered maybe making stuff, maybe bracelets, ear rings, necklaces etc and flogging them on ebay.
