I have to answer this question:

How do organisations ensure that they meet the requirements of external legislation and regulation, whilst meeting organisational objectives ??

I have a few ideas, but have now drawn a complete blank

They have compliance officers, who are trained to know what regulations ( etc) the company has to obey
