I am moving to New Zealand soon and have a few debts here, loans credit card etc, i dont have any trouble paying them but will when i move and have to convert the dollars back to pounds when paying them.
Should I just leave them and hope they never catch up or struggle through and pay them off, I have also looked at changing my name when im ove there so i wont be found but i dont know how realistic this is.

Why are you prepared to rob these companies you were so keen to deal with?

I suggest you talk to the companies now about the best way of making your repayments.
they say people who are ex pats living any ware in the world are running away from something, prove them wrong.
oh and the idea of living some ware else permanantly is great in theory, but never discount the idea one day you will come home.
With the views you have expressed I suggest you not move to NZ as that country may be better off without you. If you are unable to do simple money conversions there's little hope for you there anyway as a moderate education would be helpful in most things.
