I hope that this tribute is respected with more understanding than the Sainsbury Christmas advert chill. Both serve as a memorial to a sad and tragic war. Some say the advert sanitises war and puts money in Sainsbury's coffers. If it helps the B.L it is fine by me. I will remember them on Christmas day when I hear Silent nach being sung on my phonograph and raise my glass in silent tribute.

I heard about this on the radio. Very glad to see it. What a beautiful piece of work it is and meaningful. Haven't seen the Sainsbury's ad. yet, so can't comment. The sculpture made me think of Owen's 'Strange Meeting', worth reading if you don't know it already.
Good tribute and I also love the Sainsbury's ad.
Lovely sculpture and very fitting tribute. I thought the Sainbury's ad was brilliant.
Just had time to watch the ad. It's brilliant, educational for many and Sainsbury's are not obtrusive - you could miss the logo at the end. Thanks Chill.
