I am sorrier she wasnt 'turned' and came back and told the kids:

Fighting for the Ukrainians?

Do they borrow each others fighters in these wars, or is there some sort of military world tour holiday going on here?
That works as long as their spin machine doesn't turn her into a martyr- which of course it will. I think deglorifying it as Peter suggested would be more practical use to us long term, but I'm not sad at her demise.
At news like this I am sorely tempted to say, "Allahu Akbar" .
"a Russian news agency has claimed."

I think that story needs to be taken with a pinch of salt. The Russian media is full of these stories. According to them everyone from Adolf Hitler to Lord Lucan is fighting for Nazi Ukraine against them :-)
At the age of 125 Adolf has been retired from active service. Not sure about Lucan.

"Death to the Fascist occupier" lol
The Evening Standard should be a bit careful who it quotes

If Samantha Lewthwaite was fighting in Ukraine then I'm Sepp Blatter's love child.

If it's true - good.
They also spoil their story ab adding:

"The Russian sniper who killed the British terrorist now has a price of nearly one million dollars on his head from Ukrainian special services," the report.

Which ought to be proof enough that the whole thing is (yet another) made up story
I will go along with that Naomi.

In a perfect world she would have been publicly hanged.
Sorry to be a nuisance again, but just to put this "report" in context: The Aidar Batallion for which this woman was allegedly "fighting" is a unit directly subordinated to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The Russians have been busting every propaganda gut in their bodies to portray these batallions as terrorist units consisting of mercenaries and God knows who else.
The story really is a load of rubbish, believe me.
So those of you hoping for a good hanging or whatever don't give up hope :-)
If it were true I'm sure it would be reported on the BBC...
Is this true or is it just an allegation? I hope it's true and if so, pity there weren't more along with her.
This is just propaganda, there is no proof whatsoever. It is also highly unlikely that she would be fighting for Ukraine.
I doubt she would have been able to get to the Ukraine (probably with several kids in tow) unnoticed.
Unconfirmed. I doubt it is true.

She was reported to be in Syria, which is a long way from Ukraine.

Not sire why she would be fighting for Ukraine either, they are not muslim.
