Are Grayling's civil servants known as Graylinglings?

A prime example of lawyers looking after their own business interests, at the country's expense.

Do they really trawl abroad, looking to locate potential litigants?

Didn't Rumpole travel to Africa in one episode? It seems to be going on for some time.
No they should not.

But lawyers like filling their boots at taxpayers expense.

@AOG

No, they should not have a right to legal aid without legal residency in the UK.
There should, however, be a right of appeal against this general rule. If it is legally permissable to force such applications to be made into a public announcement, in one or more nationally distributed journals, setting out the basic grounds for appeal, then no-one can complain that public funds were being handed out, without their knowledge. If the grounds are well justified, no-one will mind that instance.

I wonder where chief wellington filler Butler Slosh is in all this YMG?.
No certainly not. And sack these to$$er judges who have no idea about how the people who pay them and foot the bill for the legal aid feel about such matters. Needy members of the British public are having their legal aid entitlement withdrawn. So why are we now able to fund unworthy foreigners all of a sudden?
No way,this country is a soft touch for a lot of reasons,this one in particular is to the benefit of greedy solicitors.
