With me it is carrier bags. I always take my own bags but today I forgot. I wouldn't complain if the bags were plain but I refuse to pay for a bag with the shop name all over it. So cutting off my nose to spite my face I struggled. I had it in my hand bag and in my pockets. I know I sound like a tight cow but I'm not. It is the principle that I'm paying them to advertise their shop.
So what do you hate paying for?
Good grief DT! That how much it is now to park there? Might have to rethink the jaunt there this summer (yep we're back at St Austell this year!- yay!)
Buenchico Thanks for that (I cut and paste a lot here specially music, For some reason with this link after pasting the Yurl was there preventing it showing) Bit of a mystery? But thanks for your advice.
Typical South West - screw the tourists for as much money as possible. I remember when Instow was still charging people to park in their car park up until 10pm ( even most London council carparks are free after 6.30pm)
Pixie, got it out the next day but the bit they thought was broken wasn't. In the end, himself sourced a replacement bit (it's a Chrysler so getting bits for it is tricky). They are a good garage though, they will probably bring it back to us. Also, got a £25 voucher coming from the garden centre for locking himself and girl in the car park (she was such a trooper).
With the air in tyres I have worked out how to do it for 20p in tesco.
Take off all the caps. Put money in and go round car.
Once you have finished all tyres go back round car replacing caps.
dental treatment, I do look after my teeth and it costs a fortune but feel aggrieved when others in the waiting room are getting £100s of pounds worth of treatment free because they don't work and have never contributed a penny to the economy.
You do get your money back on the smaller trolleys Steve. I was told they charge because people were thieving them. If you want to steal one a £1 is cheap. If you want to buy one they are (I'm told) about £100.
Paying a stupid amount of money to renew the lease on my flat. Only takes someone to press a few of buttons on a computer and change the dates. Nothing else changes.
