If its risk free you want then it has to be an account with two banks split 50/50 with immediate access , should be able to get about 2.5 to 3 per cent interest before tax (if payable).

Real answer would be to maybe put it into a shares ISA (although, you cannot do this all at once) or you could consider buying shares in a dividends paying company. |
