Have heard that some of the toys from Happy meals are now worth money ( why ! ) where can I find out if true? cheers

Try searching on ebay for the toy - this will give you a good indication of what it is worth. A classic example is that at car boots, people will tell you that a ZX Spectrum (rememebr them?) is worth about �100. on ebay you can pick them up for around �40 (boxed) or less than �10 unboxed. Something is only worth what someone else is willing to pay

The ones worth money tend to be the very early ones, especially if they are still in their packets.

ps - a quick look on ebay under "mcdonalds" came up with nearly 1500 lots for sale, the vast majority don't sell, the only ones that do seem to be complete sets - and Care Bears are popular for some reason (as I found out recently when it cost me �10 to comlpete my daughter's set).
