Following on from yelenots' question yesterday about the 5:2 diet, I think the 16:8 may work better for me.

Does anyone know if you can drink (water, tea etc) during your 16 hour fast?

I agree with ummmm, it's got to be a change of thought more than anything. Easy to say, i know. Fasting for 16 hours might encourage binging if you're struggling to only eat when you're hungry. My friend has lost 3 stone this year by "grazing", which is exactly the opposite, but she can't cope without food for hours. Different things for different people maybe. Good luck, whatever you try- and walk as much as possible xx

I do most of my "rubbish" eating when the kids have gone to bed, so by fasting from 8pm I will hopefully stop that. And not eating until noon isn't going to be too much different from what I manage now. Sometimes it's 11 or so before I manage to get breakfast.
yes i agree . it is a change in life style !!
