I meet a guy 4 weeks ago, went on a date with him and we got on really well. On the second date we had sex i began to like him even more. I meet him for the third time yesterday and after we had sex he told me he was married. I felt so crap, i just don't know what to do, i stayed with him for about a hour after he told me (without having sex) and he explained everything to me, even though he loves her they're sex life is rubbish, so he just needs someone to fill in that part. I don't really want a lot of commitment and i know if he's not doing it with me he'll find someone else, but then i keep thinking about his wife in the back of my mind. Owww, what a mess, i just don't know what to do what would you do if you were me?

Was it a married gangster?
old geezer ;-)
the wind up is the couple who have been married upteen years but barely can stand to be near each other whilst putting on the false front for the friends and neighbours...
lol @ Chuck...I almost asked the same thing myself ;o)
cazz....so that is ONE couple who are "living a lie" How many others are living a lie....tens of thousands?
Mistresses usually get something other than sex out of relationships to, ie. money, somewhere to live, and other perks. How many poorer people in the countries you mention have mistresses as well as wives, Sqad. Very few I would imagine. Also religion plays a part in divorce statistics. Predominantly catholic countries will have lower divorce rates.
I don't think you should have had sex on only the 2nd date without finding more about him.
Lofty...is your avatar a photograph of George Best?
thats surprisingly a common scenario sqad..
I would not be opposed to an open relationship I don't think. As long as there were boundaries and I trusted my partner then I don't see why it would be a problem.
What kind of boundaries? Sleep with who you want but make sure you tell me?

That might work if you both attracted the same amount of people....jealousy would kick in if you didn't.
Lottie, why have you turned into George Best...?
It is Sqad. It is my contribution towards football mania. He was just so yummy. (I hate football!!)
what happens when you have kids to think of greedyfly? how do you explain that to them?
I don't think greedy has thought it through....
I couldn't cope with Mr LL sleeping with other people and as for me I just wouldn't. I still want him and nobody else. Has been like that almost since the day we met!!
The kids can find their own partners. :-)
Yo I was right, your answer to sqad was right under mine!
I can see it now, greedyfly up all night feeding babies whilst mr greedyfly gets ready for his hot date...
Thought I would get into the spirit of football Boxtops ;o)
