i think i underestimated the dating game / field. i am no nearer to meeting or finding anyone......everyday at work is same old same old, nobody there really, i dont meet anybody on a day to day basis outside of work, and then when i go to the gym its the same thing.

So i have been on dating sites online aswell again not really meeting anybody.

Where am i going wrong???

You're not showing out a welcome. Everyday you pass people on street, buses, trains, shops etc. Say something to everyone - ask directions, greet people, chat to shop assistants - open up and laugh at yourself....draw attention by walking into a tree, trip over if your attracted to someone.

People are out there for your pleasure - even if they're grumps......we're all equal! Cheer them up, cry with them but raise a laugh.
I agree with the above. I bought a few boxes of Roses chocolates at the local Surket for work as it was my birthday. A very nice young woman questioned me about it. Had a good chat about what plans I had...where I was going for my birthday.

Hope you get lucky.
Surket?!?! Meant Surket!
Sorry my keyboard is playing up or is AB? Surket I meant Surket..... S u p e r M a r k e t
you are not making use of facilities, sure you use this site to ask for advice, but have you thought about joining in with the chatters here?? a lot of them are friends on FB as a result of posting here, it may tune up your banter/ smalltalk technique??

nothing major, just join in here and there, answering questions
