Well love and romance go hand in hand. I couldn't be romantic with someone I didn't love.

Money....no, it's handy but not essential

Sex....we could get that whenever we want, but most choose not to.

Romance...as above.

Well I generally (although not today, apparently, according to the bank) have enough of my own money. I can get sex if and when I want it (although prefer something a little more meaningful). As for romance, I think you can only have romance if there is love or the potential of it with someone.

Personally, I dated in the past to find someone special with whom I can spend the rest of my life. Am beginning to think I actually got it right this time.

And in turning the question on its head, I have found in the past that men have dated me for 1) curiosity 2) money 3) I can cook 4) sex 5) all of the above (present incumbent excepted).

I suppose it depends on the women you go for, most women will date for love but there are a small percentage of ladies who will date a man for his material wealth. probably the shallower sort of woman
