I used to write for a magazine called 'Catch', and every month we visited a different city nightclub and interviewed the customers, and took their photos. One of the questions I asked of both genders was - 'What is your best chat-up line you've delivered / heard?'

Some were truly awful!

Do you know a lot of men really do say "Do you come here often?"

And

"Here's 10p, ring your mum and tell her you won;t be home."

My favourite was -

"Do you like group sex? No? Me neither, just you and me then?"
