When I met this girl 2 years ago at college we got really close and it was obvious we both liked each other and things escalated but because I had never been in this situation before, it got to a point where I didnt know what to do and what I thought I was doing right, only pushed me into the friend zone. Im now in a very deep situation of getting out the friend zone because we recently started talking casually again and it's rekindled my desire for her and im not the best at all this so what I want to know is how do I get her to see me like she did when we met? How do I go about it?

Relationships develop at their own pace. You just have to take things gradually. There are no rules. Just talk to each other and see what happens.

Being friends is a good starting point. If you try to push things too quickly you may well lose a friend as well as a 'relationship'.
IMO if she only responded to your previous unspecified attempts with friendship then chances are she considered your relationship then and concluded that was what she wanted. I don't believe you can find some 'magic' act that changes someone's mind. All you can do is offer a date for her to reconsider the options.
Talk to her, see what SHE wants!

You mean that you had a full sexual relationship.

\\\\\only pushed me into the friend zone.\\

"Friend zone?".........so you stopped having sex with her?

\\\ how do I get her to see me like she did when we met? How do I go about it?\\\

It is back to the drawing board.......start sexual advances immediately.....
...and wait for the smack, sqad... :-)
Tell her how you feel... Be honest with her and yourself.
Communication is the key.
Good luck.
boxy.

LOL...that just reminds me of a girl who smacked my face for an "innocent " remark that i made to her when i was about 17years of age...it ended up into the best 2 years of a sexual experience that i have ever had.

No pain...no gain.
Wow. No improvement since 17 to 19 ?
O_G...good point, there have been highs and lows over a lifetime, but one never forgets one's "first love."
And there was me going to check out & recommend a good instruction book or two for you :-)
Talk to her, does she want the same thing, if she does, mate i'm happy for ya but if she doesn't respect that and try still be friends without being awkward. Best of luck mate!
