Just opened the freezer to get something out and thought - what on earth is that?? What looks like frozen shaving foam is all over everything, the doors, all the food....
Then I realised what I've done - yesterday I put 4 cans of lager in there to chill for half hour - and forgot all about them! They have all exploded everywhere and made the most unbelievable mess.

Every forgotten something and done something similar?

I left a carton of milk at the back of the fridge once and after a time wondered why eveything I took out of the fridge smelt of extremely strong cheese! Did a search and discovered the now totally congealed milk. Couldn't believe it was making everything smell of cheese ....

I did however once put some DVD's in the freezer by accident.

B00 - did you find a packet of bacon in the DVD player??
I've done it with bottles of beer although never for long enough that they exploded. Just long enough that you end up with Peroni flavoured ice pops.

I have had fizzy drink cans explode in the fridge though. I'm sure some would come up with a scientific explantion but I'm sticking with the poltergeist living in there who has something against the coca cola brand.
No, lol, and sadly it's not the first time ive put non freezer related stuff in there.

I've a terrible habit of dumping what I assume is a bag of purely frozen stuff in the freezer straight from Tesco, usually forgetting ive also put other stuff in the bag as well.
bet it makes the condoms refreshing

Nearest I've got to that was putting some pasta on to cook, then answering the phone and talking to my sister for half an hour, having a long soak in the bath, getting out and wondering what the funny burny smell was......
It's usually my key that get put in the fridge. At least they don't smell or ooze all over things, but they're a b****r to find.
Have you ever had eggs boil dry and explode? This happened to me on a night shift at about 3am when we had been too busy to take a break. We had 'borrowed' a saucepan from a ward - after the explosion we had to try to hammer the saucepan back into shape so that the ward sister wouldn't notice in the morning - didn't work. The smell was just dreadful - even worse than the school Chemistry lab fume cupboard.
My ex husband decided to find out exactly what happened if you put an egg in the microwave (his parents'). Apparently the place smelt of omelettes for a long time even if he did try to cleanit up.
I put a bottle of coke in the freezer once, years ago and forgot all about it and it exploded. I was still living with my parents at the time and my mum went ape!
I potted my house keys along with some bedding plants. It took ages to find them.
