claiming hysteria at the slightest thing...

why do so many people on here instantly decide you are in hysterics, panicking or frothing at the mouth whenever you ask a simple question?

sometimes people just want an answer or are merely curious - why jump to conclusions and assume they are fuming, and then leap in an accuse and berate someone just for asking?

its tedious...i have now resorted to adding a disclaimer to most of my posts so i dont have to wade through a load of unecessary 'calm down' type posts, and explain myself...

why is this? why do we instantly read into things on here? (actually a serious question)

(Disclaimer: i am not fuming or panicking , just curious)

Maybe because 999 times out of 1000 the question could easily have been Googled by anyone that 'wasn't in a panic', thus leading to the belief that they are.
Now joko, calm down, it's not worth getting yourself worked up over my love... lol
Dunno, people just seem to make a huge fuss over people not making a huge fuss sometimes, I know exactly what you mean:)
I was on one the other night and people were posting 'call 999'0r ' get to A&E', when it seemed to me that things were not that urgent so do see your point.
people do like showing that they can read other people's minds. They particularly like rebuking anyone who's been to court and wants to know what sentences are likely, rather than just answering the question. (Fortunately people like NOX and Eddie do give helpful answers to such queestions.)
lol @ jno;-)

hehe... its ok ive calmed down now...my bp is back down to normal...lol

yes naz thats true but it seems no matter what the question someone will respond with , 'why are you so upset', or 'calm down', or 'oh for gods sake!', or 'who cares, stop worrying', or, 'grow up and dont be stupid', etc etc etc....when the text of the question is quite normal and if read clearly envokes no hysteria...its like an instant assumption...usually because someone is asuming somethign is common knowledge when clearly its not that common...

(or more likely an excuse to simply be condescending to someone)
It's much more fun asking questions on here than googling it.
