Sqad advice again PLEASE

Hi sqad
I posted the other day about my brother having breathing problems.. He's having test to see what's wrong. He as an appointment for a chest x-ray on Thursday. However he had to have his bloods took this morning and by t.time the doctor rang to ask him to go in tomorrow for his results. This seems really quick doesant it? Should we be worried? And also do you no what they test for in his situation? Any advice would be gratefully accepted xx

Hi Anne I will do think we will no more by Thursday nite. I'm just worried about these blood results coming back so quick! Thankyou for your concern xx
Hi jonah
Just to say it's good that they are keeping such a close eye on your brother with regards to his blood tests. Try not to be too worried, my husband will go for bloods taken on a morning and by tea time they are ringing about the results, usually to tell him to stop taking such and such tablets.
I know it's not the same situation but they can do them quite quickly as a matter of course not neccessarily because anything is terribly wrong so please try not to worry yourself too much.
Please keep us informed of how your brother gets on. All the best xx

Thankyou wingnut
That's so kind of you to reply. I do worry as even tho he's 29 he's still my baby brother.
Thankyou for your kind reassuring words xx
So far...so good...no big deal.

The blood tests will almost certainly be "routine"...perhaps for any signs of anaemia or thyroid malfunction.

Like anne says....keep us informed.
