... that some people sail through life while the rest of us get shat, on time after time, from a great height? It never seems to end.

It does sometimes seem that way, but we don`t always have an insight into what goes on behind other peoples doors, do we. Life can be very hard at times and all we can do is soldier on and do our best and hope all will be well.

Hope things improve for you.♥
Masma, would it help to talk about it? There's usually someone around on here who wants to listen.

I echo mamya's sentiments. Hope things look a bit brighter in the light of day. xxx

I think that we 'all' have loads of crappy stuff in our life but it is a matter of how you deal with it that makes the difference.

I have bipolar disorder and have extreme mood swings. When I am well (or high) I can cope when things go badly. However when I am low or clinically depressed the same things happening to me become unbearable and my problems seem unsurmountable.

This sums it all up:-

"Grant me the serenity
To accept the things I cannot change;
The courage to change the things that I can;
And the wisdom to know the difference."

Best wishes masma.

Susan
Thanks for adding some humour Tonyted!
Life is full of ups and downs and we seem to notice the downs more than the ups.I don't know why that is,some people are naturally optimistic and let nothing bother them,sailing through problems.
Others,like myself and you masma,always think others are better off/get an easier life/all the luck etc.
I don't have a solution,but you are not alone.
Try and find one thing good that happened today.
Same again tomorrow.
Have a moan here if it helps.

tonyted - I think that most of us take life far too seriously. Humour is good for us.
Made me laugh!

TT your answer wasn`t crass, this is a forum for all to say it like it is, you have your way of voicing things as do we all. I have days when I howl at the moon if I spill a cup of tea and days when I am brave as a lion and see off gangs of teenagers climbing my decrepit fence without a care in the world. Those are lifes ups and downs. My heart sometimes breaks at what I`ve been through and other times I count my blessings for what a glorious life I`ve had so far.♥

Alright you rotten ratbag, stop contributing to teenage girls threads and telling them to stick their tongues down BF`s throats. LOL

Accept that some days you are the pigeon and some days you are the statue.

David Brent.
lol b00, I think I am a statue of a pigeon
I have a brother and sister, both older than myself and they`ve never had a serious illness in their lives.....me......I`ve had, and got, just about everything, but I thank my luck stars every day God gives me.

Thank you all for taking the time to read and reply to my moaning. We've had a sad weekend after having to have our dog (Jetspoon) put to sleep on Saturday. She was 14 and until Friday had been healthy. I know we were lucky in so many ways to have had her for that long.
It's been the icing on the cake as far as it's been "one of those years"
I will say though, if as Tonyted suggested it's Karma I must have been blooming wicked in a past life.
Thanks again xx
