To repatriate immigrants and for every one that is deported make someone off the dole do the nasty job that they have left vacant. But, they have to do it legally and pay tax & NI on the below minimum wage that they get. Perhaps people would stop wingeing about them then.

It means I live in an area (the South) where property prices are high.

I have worked hard and already paid one lot of tax on my earnings.

My parents have also worked hard and paid tax.

When we die, our money, on which we have already paid tax, will be taken away and shared out amongst people who have never tried to do a days work in their lives. Why should they bother? They just sit on their butts and wait for me to die.

I have no siblings, and no family apart from my parents. So ... if I died, I'd want my friends to share my money ... not some idle scrounger with twelve kids and a house in London.

I agree the main thing for me would be immigration, and it's not a case of 'not in my backyard' 'cos York itself has very few immigrants.
The deluge of immigrants the country has accepted impacts on housing, benefits, schooling, the NHS stretching already overstretched services.
