as some of you might remember......im a student nurse....we have been shown how to read blood pressure manually...even though on placement there is a tendancy to use the electric machine....HOWEVER.....my lecturer showed me in her words "an old fashioned way" with the sphyg...and begin with the brachial pulse....add 20 on i think...i cant remember....can someone shed light!?? please........thank you!!!

free blood pressure checks all round ive bought a sphyg and steth to use at home hehe!!

thanks thats helpfull the step by step and pics.....i was just wondering what she said with taking the wrist pulse first and adding on twenty! i forget! haha! thank you peapod! x
