////'. Every family is different. (I don't even really understand the concept of 'grief'. I've lost close friends and family members, including both my parents, and I've never grieved for anyone. I've just carried on as normal, usually refusing to attend funerals, which I regard as completely pointless. But I accept that others are different). /////

I saw this answer of yours on a S&C question and I admired your honesty, as it is not easy to swim against the tide on AB.

I thought that I was the only person that couldn't grieve and when you tell this, most people think that you are some sort of "oddity". I never knew my father, but my mother died 2yrs ago and although I admired her as a woman.......I didn't shed a tear and within 24hours, life was as normal.

You have my admiration for admitting it on AB.

Sqad - I think anybody who is honest on AB/CB I applaud. I have held back from commenting on some posts, because I know I will get a b0llocking....

I suppose it depends on the relationship that you build up with the person, people do grieve though.

Wait while you lose someone you really love then it will hit you or are you incapable of loving?
Under the new format Answerbank, we don't get emails to say a thread is added to. When was the thread?
Hello Sqad!
Squad, no disrespect meant but I think you are lacking the gene which allows us to feel that loving emotion.

Two days ago NOK. People move on & threads are forgotten about.
Hi Society,
I don't agree. It depends on the 'relationship' we have if any at all.

Not everyone looks back on old posts, they get forgotten. I can start a thread & completely forget about it the following day!

Sach, we all do see things differently. I enjoy reading Squad's posts on here, but, I base what I said on what Squad said in this thread - http://www.theanswerb...l/Question775666.html - if this is not our 'Squad' then I apologise and retract my impression of him.

I like the virtual personality Squad, I didn't mean anything offensive or negative
sqad doesnt do emotion.

Society x
Is he not stating in that post that he missed Gelda & respected her? Is that not an emotion in itself?
