I have been getting a weird rash on my hands for the past 4 months. It is no where else on my body, just my hands. I realize that the HIV rash doesn't usually occur on hands, but it can. I have been having severe anxiety about it for the past 4 months and actually had a test done 4 months post possible exposure. The test came back negative. I have no bumps or anything of that nature, it is just redness and it blanches when pressed on. It disappears when i put my hands above my heart but returns when hands are at rest. I do not know what to do. I want to be able to move on with my life and want some reassurance that this rash isn't an HIV rash. I have no headache or any other symptoms, just severe anxiety about it. I can see the fine lines in my skin and it always feels irritated. Would bumps always have to be present for it to be an HIV rash?
