Depends whether your partner finds out!

Only joking.  Sex between two consenting adults is acceptable.  I am led to believe that sex during pregnancy is quite safe, although I have never been pregnant.  Some buffs might even tell you that it does good things to the foetus, but I have no authrotiy to advise you.  Perhaps one of the guide books or pregnancy websites might have more substantial advice.

I also meant to say, that it depends on the particular person who is pregnant. I am sure your GP will be the best person to advise you.

I'm in the health profession, and yes its safe to have sex during pregnancy, as long as you're having a normal healthy pregnancy.

If you've had any bleeding, then avoid having penetrative intercourse for a few weeks (and of course, consult your G.P as well)

You might wish to avoid 'rough' sex, in favour of sex of a more gentle and loving kind.

Also, during sex the blood flow to the pelvis and uterus is increased, and this cant do any harm at all!

Enjoy!

Just to add a PS to that it can mean that you get a few cramps afterwards in the first 12 wks but that's normal and as long as it's not actual pain and there's no bleeding then you should be OK.
