ABitis�a disease or disorder, found only in posters of the well known Answerbank.

A mild form has been noted characterized by mild irritation and closing the website to return the following day.

An acute form which is the more common, typically with a new ABer initially becoming popular and then being involved in a tirade of abuse, lasting maybe some hours and associated with marked emotional and behavioral outbursts. This is initially followed by the intense desire, never to frequent the Answerbank again.

A more chronic form has characteristic features of totally unintelligible posts, only understood by posters already afflicted by this poorly understood disorder.

There is no cure for this disorder and it is only cured by the death of the sufferer.

Famous ABers who have or indeed still suffer from this disorder are Ethel, salla, whiffey, Joy. sqad (such a nice chap too) all metamorphoses of legend, JJ, Loftylottie and many others, too many to name.

Spare a thought, for a moment for those who have succumbed and left this unforgettable and addictive website.

Medical research continues in an effort to find a cure for this highly infectious disease known as ABitis.

Not only is Robinia immune I think she invented a cure based on liberty bodices and kendal mint cake.

I just thought of that this morning before going to play snooker (I lost) as a sort of resume with Joy in mind.

It was patially "tongue in cheek" but it has been my experience.
