I had a back problem last year, and after a few sessions with an Osteopath and paying nearly 80 a month in costs I had to stop. I was wondering if I went to my Doctor they would refer me on the NHS?

thanks Lil O'lady! I will make an appointment!
osteopathy is not availale on the NHS
talk to an expert about pilates - it is a brilliant form of exercise for back problems and one I can personally recommend - it helped me tremendously after I was partially paralysed following a riding accident. I promise you it's fantastic.
Normally, you only need to see an osteopath at the most twice, if not he's not a good one.
A physiotherapist would probably be better than a bad osteopath (some are both)
My Doctor sent me to a back clinic in Marylebone.. It had everything to treat back touble Osteopaths, Chirocpracters, Acupunturists, and it was on the NHS..They sent me to the hospital first for an Xray so they knew what they were dealing with.. and then I went every week for about a month,,.Saw a Chiropracter first then an Osteopath...
